Super Bowl Snacks And Activities For Kids

Written By: happycamper

The Super Bowl is not just about the game; it’s an event that brings families and friends together to enjoy good food, exciting entertainment, and, of course, football! However, it can be challenging to keep the kids entertained for hours during the game. With a bit of planning and creativity, you can make Super Bowl Sunday enjoyable for the whole family.

Here are some Super Bowl snacks and activities that will keep the kids entertained on Super Bowl Sunday:

DIY Snack Stadium

Turn snack time into a fun activity by creating a DIY snack stadium. Use cardboard boxes, aluminum foil, and small containers to build a miniature football stadium. Fill each section with kid-friendly snacks like popcorn, pretzels, veggies with dip, and mini sandwiches. Let the kids help you assemble the stadium and arrange the snacks.

Peanut Butter Jelly Football Sandwiches

Ingredients: bread slices (whole wheat or white), peanut butter, jelly (grape or strawberry), white icing or frosting (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions: Start by spreading peanut butter on one slice of bread and jelly on another slice. Place the two slices together to form a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Using a football-shaped cookie cutter, carefully cut out football shapes from the sandwiches. If you don’t have a cookie cutter, you can use a knife to trim the edges into football shapes. Once you have your football-shaped sandwiches, use white icing or frosting to pipe laces onto each sandwich, creating the football design.

These peanut butter and jelly football sandwiches are tasty and easy to make. They’re sure to be a hit with kids of all ages at your Super Bowl party!

Get creative in the kitchen and whip up some football-themed treats with the kids. Make football-shaped cookies using a cookie cutter, decorate cupcakes with icing to look like footballs, or create fruit kabobs with strawberries and bananas to resemble footballs. Let the kids unleash their creativity decorating the treats.

Super Bowl Bingo

Keep the kids engaged during the game with Super Bowl Bingo. Create bingo cards with different game-related events such as touchdowns, field goals, and commercials. As the game progresses, have the kids mark off the events on their bingo cards. You can even offer small prizes for the first one to get bingo or blackout.

Set up a mini football toss game in the backyard or living room. Use a small football or beanbags and designate targets for the kids to aim for. You can create point zones using chalk or tape on the floor. You can also take them outside during halftime for a football toss.

Football-themed Crafts

Set up a crafting station with supplies for football-themed crafts. Let the kids make their own footballs using brown construction paper and white laces, create football helmets out of paper plates, or decorate foam fingers with glitter and stickers.

Keep things fun and interactive for the kids. With these snacks and activities, you can create lasting memories with your family while enjoying the excitement of the big game. So gather around the TV, grab some snacks, and get ready to cheer on your favorite team – Go, team, go! For more sports fun, check out Happy Camper Live’s on-demand sports camps
